I’m one of those people who the idea of conflict diamonds bothers enough to avoid diamonds altogether unless they’re lab grown or I have some way to guarantee nobody was hurt to get that rock to me. But I still really like stones that look like them, and I’ve found that white sapphires and moissanite are both really gorgeous options with a ton of fire to them. I was absolutely floored when I saw this moissanite ring and I had to grab it.This ring is absolutely stunning. Just stunning. The pictures do absolutely no justice to it- this ring has to be seen in person. I’m not usually big on princess cuts- I like them, but I don’t flip out on them- however, this one is cut just beautifully. It’s such a dimensional cut, especially on the inside of the stone.The shaping of the ring surrounding the setting of the solitaire is really complimentary. Usually I prefer more “curvy” jewelry but there’s just something about this ring- they have done a really good job with leaning into the geometry here.One thing, though, that I didn’t notice before I grabbed the ring- the setting. I didn’t realize there were stones in the solitaire’s setting and I was absolutely blow away when I saw them. It was a very welcome surprise- I love settings that incorporate stones and it was a great choice here- it really complements the solitaire.I can’t say enough about this ring. It is absolutely stunning- it’s simple and understated, but has just enough flair that it’s still unique and directs the eye to it. The moissanite is cut expertly to really bring out the fire in it. I have to say this is one of the prettiest rings I own now.
